With an international presence spanning across 60 countries and a profound volunteer base of thousands of medical professionals annually, Operation Smile is one of the most inspirational and devoted nonprofit organizations we have had the pleasure to get to know.

For those who may be unfamiliar with the organization, Operation Smile is an international children's medical charity that performs safe, effective and well-timed cleft lip and cleft palate surgery to children in low-and middle-income countries.

Every year, RxOrganics selects a charitable organization to support annually through donations of new medical garments and/or resources to aid in their missions both here and abroad. Last summer, Operation Smile caught our interest as a candidate for our charity of choice as a colleague of our CEO was preparing to go on a medical mission with Operation Smile. We immediately saw an opportunity to send along a donation of our scrubs to help outfit the volunteers on the mission. After engaging in many exciting discussions with Operation Smile staff about our interest in participating in their gifts-in-kind program, the opportunity to give back quickly evolved into a vision with incredible potential and before we knew it we were on a flight headed to Virginia!

In August, our team traveled to Virginia Beach for a personal tour of the Operation Smile headquarters and to introduce ourselves to the incredible team working behind the scenes! Having freshly moved into a LEED certified building we were immediately taken back by Operation Smile's grand and sustainable glass entrance. The airy light-filled foyer and touching dioramas within were even more impressionable. Ethereal and inspiring, our visual senses were already affected and we had only gotten so far as the front desk to check-in! What then ensued was a powerful connection between Operation Smile and RxOrganics that left us touched to this day and grateful forever forward.

It is with great pleasure to announce that RxOrganics has partnered with Operation Smile and will proudly be donating 5% of ALL purchases made through our Rxmedical line to Operation Smile throughout 2015. We have committed to an uncapped annual donation amount based on such sales, and will make a guaranteed minimum donation of $25,000 for 2015 to Operation Smile! But that's only half of the good news!

We have also become an exclusive vendor for Operation Smile and will be offering special pricing on customized Operation Smile scrubs to every volunteer! We are thrilled to be lending support and enriching the experiences of Operation Smile's dedicated volunteers.

Operation Smile is more than a charity. They're a mobilized force of international medical professionals and caring hearts. We are beyond excited to partner with them and ready to bring more smiles into the world!

We have created a special hashtag for our 2015 campaign, #rxmedsmiles. You will be seeing this pop up frequently in the coming months across our various social media platforms and encourage you to spread the word, support the cause, and help pass along a smile!
